About National Council on Strength and Fitness
It is the mission of the National Council on Strength and Fitness to establish, assess, and promote certification standards for Exercise Professionals in a continued effort to foster a high level of professional competency and ethical practice, to best serve public interest and safety.
History
For over 28 years the National Council on Strength and Fitness has been an international leader in high quality education, certification, and advocacy for exercise professionals. The NCSF operates in over 160 counties and its network of certified professionals’ function to improve the overall life quality health potential of all populations.
National Council on Strength and Fitness in the Fitness Community
The National Council on Strength & Fitness (NCSF) is a globally recognized certification organization for exercise professionals. The certification program is accredited in the United States (NCCA) and Europe (EA) offering certification in over 160 countries worldwide. Exercise professionals can specialize in personal training, strength & conditioning as well as sports and fitness nutrition. The accredited programs can be taken anywhere in the World online using the NCSF easy-learning system and remote testing platform. Additionally, the certification programs are offered through hundreds of colleges and universities across the U.S. The certifications are internationally portable to countries with register systems for exercise professionals including the United States, Canada, Europe, South Africa, New Zealand, Australia, and India representing over a quarter-million professionals.
